Olathe Manufacturing started building tub grinders during the latter part of the 1980’s in Olathe KS. Shortly after, they also branded the Olathe grinder as a Toro Progrind tub grinder. (We think the only thing they changed was the model name.) Later, Precision Husky Corporation bought out the company. Precision is a well-known company in the sawmill, logging and wood waste recycling industries. At least one of the original Olathe designers is still designing grinders for Precision.
This would have had a chipper attached to the unit as well.
